Springing Into Action
It's official, Spring is here; which means that flowers are blooming, trees are sprouting leaves, little baby bunnies are hopping around, and in my neck of the woods baby quail are crossing streets in a nice single file line. Spring means new beginnings, fresh starts, and beautiful color. With the lovely weather and beautiful newness of it all I would like to encourage to create some of your own beginnings and fresh starts.
However you decide to acknowlegde this amazing season, the time is now to Spring into action. Enjoy! Grow! Rejuvenate! Happy Spring, Everyone!!

Go Big or Go Home Question: Embrace the Change
When you hear or see the word "change" what comes to mind for you?
Growth? Expansion? Different direction? Adjustment? Transition?
With change sometimes comes fear and a feeling of being disconnected; fear of the unknown and a disconnection from the past and what we're comfortable with. So this week's Go Big or Go Home Question(s) is during times of change what can you do to feel connected? What will help you to combat the fear?
Now is the perfect time to create a toolbox filled with tools that will support you in embracing change. Fill it full and have fun trying a few things on for size during those times of change.

It's "Make Someone Smile" Week
I'm declaring it "Make Someone Smile" Week. Who am I to do that? Just a woman, but dontcha think it would be kind fun to knowingly walk around with the intention of making others smile? What a great way to raise your own positive vibe as well as the positive vibe of others. Besides, it's hard not to smile yourself when you are consciously making another smile.
So here are some tips for how to bring about a few smiles...feel free to use them, tweak them, add to them or come up with you own. :)
1) Share a sincere compliment
2) Share a hug
3) Tell a good joke
4) Just smile at someone for the sake of smiling
5) Make a funny face
6) Break out into a song and dance
7) Whistle the theme song from the Pink Panther
8) Honor someone with a Remarkable Tribute
Have a blast!
Peace, Love and Major Smiles to you!

What Makes Your Heart Sing?
I have a request...think for just a moment about the last time you used any of the following phrases:
I should do or be
I need to
I ought to be
I am supposed to
I must
As you're thinking about that last time or even just reading those phrases how are you feeling? Are you feeling empowered and ready to go? OR Are you feeling a knot in the pit of your stomach or feelings of dread? If phrases like that empower you, kudos to you! (And I truly mean that.) I have to be honest and share that those phrases make my blood run cold. They make me want to run screaming for the hills.
Why?
It's simple really. Those phrases have always been associated with a demand or an imposed goal; something someone else said I should be, must do, supposed to, or need to, not something I want to, wish to, or desire to be. It's phrases like that that squish my spirit, stifle who I am at my core because they are usually followed by "tasks" that just don't fit me or make my heart sing. So let me ask you, what would your day, your world, and/or your life be like if you did what made your heart sing? What would it feel like if you never fell prey to those phrases ever again? Take a moment and imagine it.
I challenge you starting today to do things that energize you and that truly make your heart sing. If you have always wanted to take voice lessons, but didn't because someone said you should be doing something else, then take those voice lessons. If you have always wanted to try bungee jumping, but your want was cancelled out by someone else's limiting beliefs, then I encourage you to take a chance and do that jump. If you have always wanted to explore your creative side, but instead squashed that creative side because you were told you were supposed to be doing something else, then by all means, tap into those creative juices.
You don't do yourself or anyone else any favors by not allowing your heart to truly sing. There is no time like the present and I can promise you, you won't be sorry you did.

Seeing the World Through Clean or Spotted Glasses
Having a positive attitude is like looking at the world through clean glasses. If you have spots on those glasses, it's harder to see the good in front of you. - PT
Despite all the doom and gloom surroudings us in the media, I still believe in my heart of hearts that we can create positives. We can shift our attitudes (with some effort and persistence). We can make things better and see the good. We can, I know we can.
I want you to imagine for just one moment what it would be like or what it would feel like if all that surrounded you was positive; positive people, uplifting news, smiles and laughter, fun opportunities, exciting adventures, good music, love, etc. How would you feel? What would you see?
My dear friends, despite what the media is telling us, despite what we may be hearing at the office or around town, there are positives to be had. There really are and now is the time to choose. Do you wish to look at the world through clean or spotted glasses? What do you choose and what will you do to support your choice?
Here is what I choose to do:
1) Smile
2) Give hugs
3) Share appreciation for another person
4) Say "thank you"
5) Laugh
6) Be grateful for everything I have
7) Share for as long as is needed and with no expectations.
8) Steer clear of gossip and negative conversations.
9) Keep me energy levels up by listening to some fun music, recharging my battery whenever necessary, and having fun.
10) Send love and positive energy out into the world.
Join me, please!? Together we can create a way to see the good.

Go Big or Go Home Question: What Takes Your Breath Away?
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away" - AnonymousLife is truly a smoorgasboard filled with moments that take our breath away, big and small. As a matter of fact, I can think of a few off the top of my head that have left me breathless:
1) My first love.
2) The birth of my son.
3) A recent acknowledgment from a dear friend and respected colleague.
4) The ahas I had this past weekend.
This Go Big or Go Home Question is actually a two parter; 1) What moments have left you breathless? Capture as many as you can and have fun enjoying the feelings associated with those moments. AND
2) What moments will you create that will surely take your breath away?
Here's to being breathless! Have fun!
P.S. Many thanks to all my wonderful readers and friends for promoting the free e-course Getting Your Groove On; 10 Kick Ass Ways to Supercharge Your Life. The response has been overwhelming and I am truly grateful.

From Me to You

You can't turn on the news, tune in the radio, or even go to your local coffee shop without hearing about how tough things are. It's all the buzz and can be rather overwhelming and consuming. I understand the feelings created by the messages we are hearing and I'm heartsick by the fear and hurt those messages are creating. They are holding many back, stopping people from truly living, blocking the flow of fun, and draining our energy.
Call me an idealist or tell me that I have my head in the sand, that is fine, but I refuse to believe that there isn't goodness out there, fun to be had, opportunities to be explored, hearts to connect with, awesome people to meet, and potentials to consider. I'm not going to believe that we are self destructing and all is lost. Instead I would like to ask you to join me in creating a positive change and help to turn things around at the personal level.
I want to support you and I want to support others in amping up the energy, building more confidence, and creating more positives! In order to do just that I've created a free e-course called Getting Your Groove On: 10 Kick Ass Ways to Supercharge Your Life.
Why is it free? What's the catch?
It's free because I want to give back. I want give back to my community, to the people that I care about and to those they care about, heck to the world at large. I want people to feel empowered, to find their voices again without fear of obligation other than the obligation that they make to themselves to keep moving forward and to being the very best they can be.
My friends, we all have so many amazing positive qualities, skills, and attributes and it is time to bring them forward. It is time to stop the fear, to stop the negativity, and to create a more positive and loving world...that starts with each of us individually. So please, I'm asking you to accept this e-course as my gift to you in support of doing just that. The only thing I ask is that you share this gift with others so that we may continue to stay strong and be the amazing, loving people we were meant to be and are. Won't you help? You have the power to make a difference.
Thank you!!
Much Love and Peace to you...
Pam
P.S. I wish to thank, from the bottom of my heart, Jon Nix for helping to put a face to this e-course. Without his creative design genius this would not have been possible. Thank you, Jon!

Acknowledge YOU Because YOU'RE Worth It!
As some of you may know I teach an Acknowledgement course for a coach training organization. In teaching this course it has really got me thinking about how we so rarely take the time to acknowledge our own selves for a job well done.
Think about it. When was the last time you did something where you took a moment and said to yourself, "Job well done! Way to go!!"?
The more I teach this class, the more students, clients, and friends I talk to, the more I find that we don't take the time. What we often do is get the job done and move onto the next job at hand. Sound familar?
So your challenge over the next week, if you choose to accept it, is to acknowledge yourself for the small, medium, and large wins, for the jobs you have completed, the tasks you have checked off your to-do lists, and most importantly, for just being YOU! You're worth the acknowledgment!
Have an awesome week and have fun acknowledging.
